Job Description

Principal Accountabilities:
  • Responsible for system administration tasks including installation, configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Provide technical support to end-users, addressing and resolving issues promptly and intelligently
  • Build and maintain comprehensive system documentation, including system configuration, administration guides, troubleshooting guides, IT inventory and other relevant documentation as needed
  • Monitor system performance, identify issues, and implement appropriate solutions to ensure system stability and reliability
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies and best practices in system administration
  • Collaborate with vendors and service providers to resolve system-related issues and implement necessary updates or patches
  • Participate in system upgrades, migrations, and other projects to improve system performance and functionality
  • Provide training and knowledge transfer to colleagues and end-users on system usage, best practices and troubleshooting techniques
  • Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications and Experience

Experience:
  • Minimum 5 years of proven experience in network/system administration, support and deployment
Education:
  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
Skills:
  • Strong knowledge on operating systems (Windows/Mac/Linux/iOS/Android), networking (LAN/WAN/WiFi/Switch/Router/UPS), communication (Firewall/VPN/SD-WAN/Broadband), server management (virtualisation/NAS) and Web (Domain/DNS/FTP/SSL)
  • Hands-on experience in Palo Alto, VMware, Veeam, Arcserve, Adobe products and solutions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365, SQL Server, Azure, Active Directory and AWS cloud service
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and end-users
  • Able to prioritise tasks, manage time efficiently and meet deadlines in a dynamic working environment
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Mandarin
Others:
  • Less experience will be considered as IT Technical Support
